We are working together to make the Fraser Valley a place where affordable, appropriate housing is available to everyone who needs it.
About 60 organizations from every municipality in this region have formed a stakeholders’ network to share information and resources.
Our conversations help us to create and strengthen relationships, improve our understanding, and take effective action in and between the communities of Mission, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Agassiz, Hope and Boston Bar.
We meet not as adversaries, but as colleagues and partners, intent on hearing each other. We share ideas, concerns, and opportunities to improve housing conditions and make decent housing available for everyone.
We're not a non-profit society. We simply hold open a space for focussed conversation that will lead to good decisions and effective action.
We don't take on capital projects as a body. We combine our skills, capacity and resources, formally or informally, as circumstances require. If an event is to be planned, a report published, a property bought or a strategy developed, people and organizations come together as needed and as possible. It seems to be working.
